| Description: | Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-ray films as directed by physicians and performs routine diagnostic procedures in a busy, fast pace medical office; routine lab duties |
| Duties: | Demonstrates knowledge and provides documentation of practice for radiographer and competency in diagnostic procedures. Explains appropriately the rationale of radiology procedures to patients. Recognizes changes in patients status and appropriately communicates to nurse and/or doctor. Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis by use of a technique chart to produce quailty radiographs. Exhibits a working knowledge of principles, practice and procedures involved in the operation of radiographic equipment. Exhibits ability to problem solve, prioritize and evaluate patient care activities. Adheres to department and office policies. Performs procedures requiring independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative. Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly and working condition (assessing breakdowns and need for service if required). Responsible for charging procedures. Attend any education classes that are required. Will also perform lab duties. Collect blood and check quality of blood from donors. Performs venipuncture, run routine lab test. Maintain yearly CPR certification.

| Qualifications: | Must have degree and certification. High-energy person who enjoys working as part of a team. 1-2 years of experience is preferred. Phlebotomy experience preferred. If no phlebotomy experience, will be trained. |
